New Ngariama Farmers Co-operative Society was formed back in year 1997 after the split & subsequent liquidation of Ngariama Farmers Co-operative Society Limited. It was registered on 5th March 1997 under registration No. CS/8064. The society is headed by ten committee members, three being supervisory committee. The society Headquaters are modern, and domiciled at Ngariama shopping centre in Kirinyaga East Sub County, Kirinyaga County.

New Ngariama F.C.S. is well known for production of high quality coffee and for its efficiency in management. The society has been awarded severally for this and other recognitions such as achieving the highest average payment rates, as well as the highest percentage of premium grades.
The society has also been recognized by coffee research institute for attaining the highest points in the Kenya national taste of harvest competition.
